What happened with Aladdin Casino. When Aladdin opened it was right before the Twin Towers were hit in New York, people became afraid to travel and since Vegas depends a lot on tourist, this hurt the new casino that had opened. So unable to recover from this major slow down in tourist, Aladdin went bankrupt.  Planet Hollywood last year purchased Aladdin with some exciting changes to come in the future. Including adding more headline entertainers, changing the look of the casino, adding more high end restaurants, and a better gaming floor. It will take a few years for all these changes to happen.
